Keep a Dated History
Read Your Portfolio Values in Context.
The portfolio reflects the information you record. Understand how prices, currencies and activity affect the figures before interpreting changes.
Manual Valuations
Values use your latest recorded manual price per unit. Without a valuation, the holding uses its remaining cost.
Recorded Value Changes
Portfolio charts include the effects of recorded purchases and sales. A change in value is not an investment-return calculation.
Separate Account Totals
Investment values are not added to account balances or net worth, helping avoid counting the same assets twice.

About Investments
Understand how manual holdings, activity records and valuations work in Grayrock Money.
What does the Investments workspace track?
It keeps holding details and investment activity together, including purchases, sales, income, fees and manual valuations. Portfolio summaries are separated by currency.
Does Grayrock Money connect to my broker or fetch live prices?
No. This is a manual portfolio workspace. You enter the holding details, activity and valuation information yourself.
How is a holding valued?
The workspace uses your latest recorded manual price per unit. When no valuation has been recorded, it uses the holding’s remaining cost.
Does the portfolio chart show my investment return?
No. It shows changes in recorded portfolio value, including purchases and sales. It is not a market-price, benchmark or investment-return chart.
Does recording a purchase move money from my account?
No. Investment activity does not automatically change bank-account records. Add any corresponding cash transaction separately when needed, after checking whether it already exists.
Are investments added to my account balances or net worth?
No. The Investments workspace keeps its values separate from account balances and net worth to avoid double-counting.
Can I track holdings in different currencies?
Yes. Each holding has a currency. Totals and asset-type percentages stay within that currency rather than being converted into one combined portfolio figure.
Can I record investment income and fees?
Yes. The investment activity record supports income and fees alongside purchases, sales and manual valuations.
Where can I check plan availability?
Visit Grayrock Money Pricing for the current plan details and access to the Investments workspace.
