Grayrock develops software tools including Grayrock Money, Grayrock Trading Journal and related functionality.

By accessing or using Grayrock websites, products or services, you acknowledge the matters described below.

Information provided through Grayrock websites, products, reports, dashboards, documentation, Insights articles and other materials is provided for general informational, organizational, analytical and software-use purposes.

Grayrock aims to provide useful and reliable software, but information should be considered in its proper context and independently verified where accuracy is important.

2. No Financial or Investment Advice

Grayrock does not provide personalized financial, investment or trading advice through its software products unless expressly stated otherwise and lawfully provided.

Nothing on Grayrock websites or within Grayrock products should be interpreted as a recommendation or instruction to:

3. Grayrock Money

Grayrock Money is designed as money-management software.

It may provide functionality for organizing and reviewing information such as:

  • recurring commitments;
  • classifications;
  • reports;
  • reconciliation; and
  • other financial information.

Grayrock Money is not intended to replace professional accounting, bookkeeping, tax, legal, banking, investment-advisory or financial-advisory services.

Information generated or displayed by Grayrock Money should not be treated as statutory accounts, tax filings, audited financial statements or an authoritative statement from a bank or financial institution.

Users should verify important information against the appropriate original or authoritative records.

4. Grayrock Trading Journal

Grayrock Trading Journal is designed for:

  • recording trading activity;
  • organizing trading history;
  • reviewing strategies and setups;
  • analyzing historical performance;
  • recording mistakes and observations;
  • reviewing psychology and discipline; and
  • supporting a structured trading-review process.

Grayrock Trading Journal does not provide trading signals or personalized recommendations to buy, sell or hold financial products.

Statistics, metrics, reports, trends and historical analysis provided by the Trading Journal describe or analyze recorded information. They do not predict or guarantee future performance.

5. Grayrock Sync

Grayrock Sync is a journaling connector designed to synchronize supported completed trading records from compatible MetaTrader environments with Grayrock Trading Journal.

Grayrock Sync is designed as read-only trading-history synchronization.

It does not provide Grayrock with authority to:

  • place trades;
  • modify trades;
  • close positions;
  • manage a user’s brokerage account; or
  • execute trading decisions on a user’s behalf.

Grayrock Sync does not request a user’s broker master password or investor password as part of its pairing workflow.

Synchronization depends on compatible software, configuration, internet connectivity, the operation of MetaTrader and the Grayrock connector, and the availability of relevant trading history.

Users should verify synchronized records against their broker or trading-platform records where accuracy is important.

6. Trade Import and Migration

Grayrock Trading Journal may support historical trading-data imports from recognized platform exports and compatible files.

Supported import methods may include MT4, MT5, cTrader, CSV, XLSX, HTML and compatible custom data structures where applicable.

The presence of a supported file format does not guarantee that every file produced by every broker, platform or third-party application can be interpreted correctly.

Users remain responsible for reviewing imported information and verifying it against the original source.

7. Historical Performance

Past performance does not guarantee future results.

Historical trading records, statistics, win rates, profit and loss, risk-and-reward measurements, strategy performance, session performance and other analytics may help users review previous activity, but they cannot determine future market outcomes.

A historically profitable strategy, setup, market, session or trading pattern may perform differently in the future.

8. Trading and Investment Risk

Trading and investing involve risk.

Market prices can move rapidly and unpredictably, and users may lose some or all of the capital committed to trading or investment activity.

Grayrock may provide validation, mapping, duplicate-detection or other tools intended to assist users, but these tools cannot guarantee the accuracy of every record.

12. Currency and Financial Calculations

Where Grayrock Money supports multiple currencies, reporting currencies or other financial calculations, displayed values depend on the information, configuration and functionality available within the product.

Currency conversions, where provided, may depend on rates, settings or other information applicable to the relevant functionality.

Users should not treat Grayrock calculations as authoritative exchange rates, banking quotations or guaranteed financial values.

13. Third-Party Platforms and Services

Grayrock may interoperate with, import data from, link to or otherwise reference third-party platforms, brokers, financial institutions or services.

Grayrock does not control independent third parties.

  • change export formats;
  • modify APIs;
